N2 - The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) approved the Appropriate Use Criteria (AUC) document Treatment of Hip Fractures in the Elderly in an effort to assist the clinician in the evaluation and management of these injuries. Here, we present two clinical scenarios and postoperative rehabilitation treatment options to demonstrate how these AUC can be incorporated into clinical decision making.
