Abstract

Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation therapy mechanically circulates externally oxygenated blood. We assess cerebral blood flow during perturbation of ECMO parameters using diffuse optical and correlation spectroscopies. We observe both regulated and passive pressure dependent flow.
