Abstract

Sudden cardiac death has a arcadian pattern with a significant morning peak.1-4 We are reporting data from an 8-year study on the time of primary cardiac arrest or sudden cardiac death in unselected elderly patients in a long-term health care facility with 24-hour on-site physician coverage.
