Abstract

The electrical relaxation on voltage clamping of the inhomogeneous membrane is considered. It is shown that in the case of inhomogeneity in the form of a high narrow potential barrier in the middle and deep wells along the margins of the membrane, the electro-diffusion model is adequate as compared to a three-barrier jumping one.
