Abstract

The transport phenomena of electromagnetic waves in a two-dimensional random system was investigated. A set of self-consistent equations was presented, accounting for the multiple scattering in the system. A strong localization regime was found out. The transport properties were investigated for different parameters such as filling factor and system size.
