Abstract

A study was carried out to assess the effect of non-lens related hypoxia on proliferation of the rabbit corneal epithelium. A series of adjacent digital images of the wholemount epithelium was collected from superior limbus to central cornea and the number of BrdU-labelled pairs was counted. Results were analyzed in detail.
