Efficient 3D Iterative Deconvolution Method for Image Resolution Recovery: Application for Small-Animal PET/CT Imaging Studies

Abstract

An application of rapidly converging, efficient 3D iterative deconvolution method with novel resolution subsets-based approach for quantitative PET/CT small-animal image resolution recovery is demonstrated. The enhanced images proved to have lower noise and higher resolution.
