Abstract

A mathematical study of electric interaction between adjacent fibers in nerve trunks was carried out. It was shown that during stimulation of some fibers of the trunk a membrane potential is created in other fibers. The amplitude of this potential significantly increases in heterogenous fibers, such as branching fibers or fibers emerging from the trunk.
