Electron-capture decay of 2·4-hr 152Dy

Abstract

A study of the radiations emitted in the electron-capture decay of 2·4-hr 152Dy shows that only one level in 152Tb, a 1+ level at 256·8 keV, is populated. Log ft for this transition is 4·3, and the γ-ray de-exciting the 1+ level is an El transition.
