Abstract

Slipped capital femoral epiphysis (SCFE) in the skeletally mature patient is rare. We present a rare case of a fracture through the physeal scar of a skeletally mature patient after a trivial injury, with pre-existing osteonecrosis of the femoral neck and metadiaphysis with sparing of the femoral head.
