Abstract

The computed tomographic (CT) findings of arteriovenous malformations of the brain have been well described. Recently, Daniels et al. reported three cases of arteriovenous malformations with cystic cavities on CT due to hematoma liquefaction, an unusual finding. We report three cases of ruptured arteriovenous malformations associated with blood-fluid levels within cystic cavities.
