Abstract

Leiomyoblastoma is an uncommon tumour derived from smooth-muscle cells. A leiomyoblastoma presenting apparently as an omental tumour, as in the case presented, is exceptionally rare. Special mention is made of the value of the left decubitus position in computed tomography scanning for omental and mesenteric masses.
