Abstract
Necessary circuits have been devised to convey all the information detected by a scanning scintillation probe to one channel of two-channel magnetic tape, and to place upon the other channel information about the position of the scanning probe at all times. The data on these two channels may then be replayed at a rapid rate through a background erase circuit, at speeds up to 64 times recording speed. Image may be displayed upon the face of a memory grid oscilloscope tube. Various features of this circuit suggest that with it the maximum information can be extracted from stored radioisotope scan data.
