Abstract
Thrombelastography (TEG), which evaluates the elastic properties of whole blood and provides assessment of hemostatic function, is useful in managing peripartum coagulopathy. A case of severe bleeding after vaginal delivery, in which TEG was used successfully to manage hemostatic defects, is presented.
