Abstract

We present an off-label use of facial fillers to minimize pain and maximize comfort during the administration of 1 cc of 2% lidocaine concomitantly with the delivery of the injection. Patients remain comfortable and injections are well tolerated along all aspects of the face. The time of the procedure is also significantly shortened by not having to wait for the effects of anesthetic creams or facial blocks. This allows for the patient to receive their "lunchtime" treatment and get back to their daily routine with minimal pain or downtime.
