Abstract

We report the case of a patient who had multiple non-ossifying fibromas that were distinguished by associated cafe-au-lait spots and the unusual aggressiveness of the lesions. The rapid growth led to a total of seven pathological fractures before the patient reached the age of seven. To our knowledge, only seven similar cases have been described in the English-language literature. Four of those seven patients sustained a pathological fracture by an average age of ten years. One patient had four pathological fractures, another had two, and two patients had one fracture each.
