Abstract

We report a rare case of primary cutaneous myxoid melanoma. Histologically, the tumour was composed of spindle and stellate‐shaped cells, embedded in a myxoid stroma. Positivity for S‐100 protein and the presence of melanosomes were demonstrated in the tumour. Primary cutaneous myxoid melanoma is rare. This is the second report of such a case.
