Prevention and treatment of preterm labor in twins

Abstract

There has been little change in the perinatal mortality in twins over the past two decades. The major reason for this high perinatal mortality in twins is premature labor, with the result of premature birth. Management protocols for twins should be directed towards the prevention of premature labor.
