N2 - Many HTV-infected individuals suffer from pruritic conditions that rank highly among the most common skin diseases diagnosed in these patients, including eosinophilic folliculitis, eczemas, pruritic papular eruptions, and scabies. Their management pose special diagnostic and therapeutic challenges to our changed health care delivery environment that equally values cost control and quality of care. These issues are addressed by an algorithmic approach and review of HIV-related pruritus.
