Abstract
The auto-oscillations in the Teorell membrane oscillator are analysed. It is shown that increase in the current polarizing the membrane results in the appearance of a regime of generation of single pulses. Further increase in current leads to auto-oscillations. For the case of sufficiently high values of polarization current the fluctuations in pressure and potential are analytically described. The theory developed is in good agreement with the experimental data.
