Abstract

Utilizing a test-retest design and a modern cold-activation protocol, Fraum et al. show that BAT volume and SULmax are relatively stable across imaging sessions. These quantitative BAT metrics, which can be measured by either 18F-FDG-PET/CT or 18F-FDG-PET/MRI with excellent inter-reader reliability, are robust for tracking BAT activation longitudinally.
