Subependymal veins and ventricular tumors

Abstract

Abnormal subependymal veins may be utilized in the localization of tumors arising from or involving the ventricular system. Such neoplasms produce an abnormal subependymal venous pattern characterized by enlargement, multiplicity and loss of normal configuration. Ten illustrative cases are presented.
