N2 - In those patients in whom a valgus/flexion osteotomy is indicated, preoperative planning is important to facilitate the surgery. Radiographic assessment of the femoral head using different views allows a more accurate prediction of those cases likely to have a more successful outcome. The operative technique is explained in detail and the clinical experience with the procedure highlighted.
