Abstract

Management of acetabular fractures has continued to evolve and improve since Letournel first reported results of open reduction and internal fixation of such fractures nearly three decades ago. There has been much improvement in the surgical techniques of anatomic reduction and rigid internal fixation of displaced acetabular fractures.
