Abstract

The winter symposium of the ASTS highlighted the current state of understanding of malignancies in organ donors, evaluation of transplant candidates with malignancy, the role of transplantation in managing some cancers, and the continuing issues in de novo malignancies post-transplantation and the potential new strategies to combat this problem.
