Abstract

With open rhinoplasty techniques, surgery is directed toward establishing a nasal framework that provides a patent nasal airway and an anatomic foundation for aesthetically pleasing results. As with all facial plastic surgery procedures, a systematic approach to open rhinoplasty can ensure consistent aesthetic and functional results. This systematic approach includes not only the operative sequence but also the preoperative analysis and planning. In this article, we present our systematic approach to planning and executing a successful open rhinoplasty.
