Abstract

At the time of revision for a unilaterally short penile prosthesis it sometimes is difficult to differentiate between an originally undersized implant and a proximal corporeal perforation. Intraoperative inspection of the corpus cavernosum with a cystoscope was performed in 2 instances and appears to be a simple diagnostic method to differentiate a proximal corporeal perforation from and undersizing of unequal corporeal bodies.
