Magnetic resonance imaging in aortic valve, ascending aortic and isthmic aortic disease

Abstract

We describe a patient in whom we defined both ascending and descending thoracic aortic pathology using proton magnetic resonance imaging (MRI),1 which provided the best presurgical definition of the abnormal anatomy.
