Peritonitis due to methylobacterium mesophilicum complicating continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis

Abstract

Methylobacterium mesophilicum is being increasingly reported as a cause of opportunistic infections in immunocompromised patients. We report 2 cases of peritonitis caused by M. mesophilicum in patients undergoing continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis.
