N2 - Training in endoscopy has changed dramatically during the past 20 years and will probably change even more over the next 10 years. To confront these changes more effectively, the leaders of the four major digestive disease societies, collectively known as the Gastroenterology Leadership Council (GLC), encouraged the formation of a training director's committee. This article discusses several of the issues that the GLC Training Directors Committee has dealt with.
