Abstract

Extracts of human KB cells contain detectable uracil-DNA glycosylase activity. The majority of the activity is located wltlin the nuclear fraction, howevar we present evidence for the presence of identifiable uracil-DNA glycosylase activity associated with the mltochondrial fraction of these cells.
