Abstract
Twenty eight cases of tuberculosis of the breast have been reviewed. Two forms of presentation of the disease occur, namely, as a breast abscess or as a mass. It would appear that retrograde lymphatic spread may not be the route of infection and that blood spread may be more common than previously presumed. The xerogram findings in one patient are those of a benign non specific chronic inflammatory process.
